The Sharing Economy
The sharing economy allows people to trade their space, skills, and stuff. Sharing economy businesses use technology to utilise resources, connect people and save money.
ABOUT US
The CBI’s Sharing Economy Council protects and promotes the interests of businesses in the sharing economy. We support companies of all sizes from innovative startups to unicorns like Airbnb.
Sharing Economy UK started in 2015 following a government commissioned independent review and became part of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) in 2021. It is now the CBI Sharing Economy Council and joins 190,000 other businesses who are CBI members and part of the UK’s most effective and influential business organisation. The CBI Sharing Economy council is led by Kapila Perera, Head of Sharing Economy and Entrepreneurship and Juliet Eccleston, Chair and Founder of AnyGood?
